Ms. Smith, a kindergarten teacher with over 20 years of experience, was observing her pupils at recess when she found one of her students making faces at others on the playground.
She approached the child, and aware of all the children watching and learning, she kneeled down and gently approached the student.
“Bobby,” she started with a sweet smile. “When I was a child, I was told that if I made an ugly face at someone, it would freeze, and I would stay like that forever.”
Bobby looked up and replied, “Well, Ms. Smith, it looks like you had trouble listening to adults, too.”
